Spring Just Around The Corner

With February just now arriving for a lot of people they are starting to think about Spring and the chores that they might want to get done. I know personally I have started a somewhat short list already but it will grow and grow as the days get closer to spring.

One thing that I wish I could have and that would be for a house cleaning services raleigh nc to come and do a whole house clean up so I would not have to do it! But like most of you that chore will be left up to me to do!

I know that I am looking forward in the planting of the flowers and planning the garden for the summer harvest. I guess you could say I am actually doing a count down until then!

This year we will not be printing and mailing a full PSG brochure. Instead we have a two sided flyer and a paper registration form. If you previously registered for PSG within the last three years using a paper registration you will get a flyer and paper registration mailed to you. Otherwise, we will not be sending out forms unless they are requested. If you would like to receive a paper registration form please email us and let us know.

Please email us your current postal address to psg@circlesanctuary.org.

The registration form is also available to download and print online at

The first discounted registration deadline is February 29. Postal registrations must be POSTMARKED no later than February 29.

Handfasting Idea

A friend and I sat talking about her upcoming hand fasting rite this May. It is going to have a Fae theme so all of us that are in attendance will be wearing suitable attire. I have started looking for my outfit and to tell you the truth it has not been as easy as it sounds.

I was one of the lucky ones to see the lovely eternity bands that they will be exchanging at the ceremony. Simple yet elegant would be the words that I would describe them as.

Ceremonies are all so different but this will be the first Fae ceremony that I will have ever attended! I can not wait to go!!

One thing that has been really nice for many has been the nice weather that has come out of no where. Here for example it was almost 59 degrees! Of course the temps will once again be back down in the 40's you can bet those people out and about are enjoying the warmer weather.

If you are among those people for the next few days it would be great to set up a time to meet with that special person that you may have met on a free online dating site! Outside on a warm day enjoying the sites around you might just be what the love doctor ordered!

Do Something Positive This Weekend

Ginger is co-founding priestess of The Appalachian Pagan Alliance. Her writings have appeared in CIRCLE Magazine and other publications. She lives with her husband and six children in rural North Carolina near Asheville.

Last month, Ginger challenged the policy that permitted distribution of Gideon Bibles at the local elementary school after her fifth grade son came home with one on December 19, 2011. When the school stated that any religious literature could be available for students to pick up, Ginger brought Pagan books to the school for distribution. However, the school refused to accept these books and have them distributed in the same way they had been distributing the Bibles, indicating that a new policy was being crafted.

This separation of church and state situation has been covered in various media reports for several weeks, and on Thursday was covered by national/global television news:

Accidents & Yule

With Yule finally upon us please remember to be safe and sound in all that you do. Drive according to the weather conditions and if you are late, well, you are late. Speeding will not get you there quicker but it might get you into an unnecessary accident.

This is not the time of year to start wondering if the doctors have chosen the best medical malpractice insurance quote that they could possibly get. Sounds strange but that came into a conversation a few weeks back by a client.

A great way to protect your home during the Yule season is to get a clear, plastic or glass bulb filling it with protection herbs & oils. Empower the herbs and oils and hang on your tree.

Be sure to state the intentions of the bulb also.

I have heard that many use this for prosperity also during the Yule season.

Sprucing Up The Home

I have been sprucing up the house again since Thanksgiving. I have endless tubs of Yule decorations that could make a wonderful fort if put all together.

I have slowly but surely been decorating here and there but this week I need to get everything finished or pretty close to it as we are getting the tree on Friday so it will relax by Sunday which is our family tree trimming party!

I am really glad that I do not have to worry about cleaning any carpets as my home is tile all over. Super easy to clean with small children, messy adult children and a slew of animals that run in the mud!

Cleaning carpets would take so much time to schedule if I did have them especially if I needed carpet cleaning chapel hill nc area when the bad weather really hits there!

I will be very happy when everything is up and shining brightly around the house!

Yule Preparations

Can you believe that Yule will be here in less than 20 days? All I hear is the tick tock of the clock and the days whooshing by!

There are so many things left to do to prepare for. We have the special issue coming out and plus the normal individual plans for all the staff as well.
Jenny has taken one of the part time Food Service Assistant Jobs to help out with her Yule shopping so her communication may be a little slower than usual!

Yule is so exciting for everyone! Family and friends all getting together sharing a special time! Busy, busy days ahead until after the 1st!

Travelers Be Careful

With this being a holiday weekend we hope that all travelers are safe and sound coming and going to dinners and other festive parties. Remember not to drink and drive always having that designated driver if you need one.

Another thing to think about is it might be a good time to make sure that if you are on the road a lot for the holidays is having a breakdown service just in case you get stuck or break down. Especially if there are a lot of storms in your area.

Whatever the case be alert and very careful on the roads!

OK, so we are a day early but since the office will be closed until Monday we figured that we should post this now!

One thing is for certain I think that everyone is excited about not only the big dinner ahead of us but the time off as well. I know that Donna will be seeing an allergy doctor austin on Friday due to the time off. So that is a good way to utilize the time that is for sure!

Bundle Up, the Cold Is Here

It seems that the cold weather is starting to settle in or at least it is here.

Yesterday we had our first snow brushing and today is just plain cold! Yesterday while it was snowing my oldest decided that he wanted to see how his new ATV Tires would do in the snow. Since there was not that much and it did not stick I think it was just an excuse to ride it in the yard. haha

Since the cold weather is here it is time to start planning indoor craft jobs or stock up on a few good books! I have a Yule craft planned and of course my Kindle is jam packed with books to read in front of the fire!
