Over the next two weeks there are a number of new books that we have been given the opportunity to review. One that I am very excited about is the book entitled: Christian Mysticism which will be released this coming August!

We have a few other things that are coming up that are not just reviews of books but a couple of sites that we found that we got a big kick out of!

We are planning our annual Royal Caribbean cruise ships vacation right now. Seeking off the beaten path places to visit and see. Not the usual tourist things either! We are all excited to get away and have some staff fun!

Kent is writing a special ritual for the trip as I speak but we are really unsure if we want to partake in it. The last time he did this some pretty strange things happened for about two weeks.

I am a pretty hard sell on new divination kits that come out. I have been sent a few new ones on the market to review only to roll my eyes and laugh hysterically at what they were. We won't even talk about the outcome of some of these handy dandy kits.

When this kit came and I opened the envelope I did just that. I laughed and rolled my eyes. All I could think of was rolling a bunch of rocks onto a board. OK, first I picked apart the concept of crystals compared to polished rocks. I came up with all kinds of new titles but non of which I can print here.

The kit, once I actually looked at it was pretty nicely put together and easy to set up. It comes with 3 boards, 12 crystals (polished rocks) and a book. Oh, and a pouch that is large enough to place your hand in very comfortably. Not like a few others I have had in the past.

Now, the test. I read the book first as you really should do otherwise you will have a hard time figuring out what the heck you are doing with the boards. I am a strong believer that in order to get good results you must try to bond with the items. The book does have instructions on how to cleanse, use and bond which is good as a lot of people do not know this and just delve right into the deep end only to have to call a life guard to save them.

I tried the first board that is called 'The Life Wheel'. Results were OK but I still feel that I did not use it enough to really get anything that was coherent enough for me to say WOW that was great. Following how to do the interpretations which are clear and concise it was just OK to me.

Board 2: The Insight Wheel: Now, this one I must have bonded with a little more than the last one as the results were a lot better and I felt more confident in the results being maybe true to life. I have used this one a time or three still getting used to it and the crystals.

Board 3: The Healing Wheel: This board was very interesting and I am planning on working with it more. The results were nearly 100% which is pretty good. Especially considering my energy behind this was not fully positive.

Now, I am a creature of habit. I love what I use and rarely find something that I want to do all the time. This is something that  I will utilize at least once a month to see the full spectrum of what it can in fact do. Just like having a hydroponic systems
you have to practice, practice and yes practice some more!
The book is nicely put together and easy to read. The authors did not leave anything out so you are not sitting there reading, scratching your head wondering what they are talking about or where to go next.

If you are new and looking for something to try this would be the kit to purchase. I like the idea that it all fits in a flat like box which makes it easy to store when not in use.

For those of you that are not new to the game this is something that might compliment what you are looking to find out. All and all it is a nice set to own.

I was a little unsure about this book at first. Sometimes books that are written about prophecies are more doom and gloom than anything else. But this was not true with this book.

The section relating to the Mayans was eye opening and thought provoking to say the least. Although not my favorite chapter.

My favorite section was that of the Sixth Dimension: Sacred Geometry & Platonia. It seemed that I was so engrossed in this chapter I lost some time in it. There is an opening meditation that I have been working with now since reading this chapter that I feel has been working very well. I use this along with my other tried and true mediation hours to compliment what I already use. I am very happy with the results.

I will say though that this is not what I would call light reading at all and you might have to be in the mood to read this. The book from page to page is filled with information past to present that at times boggles the brain. I found some chapters were very easily understood while others I went back to re-read and found even more information that I missed.

I would deem this an academic style book actually but well worth the purchase and time in reading. I would also have to say that this is the type of book you can read twice and catch things that you in fact missed. I read bits and pieces once a week and it is all new each time!

The author put their blood, sweat and tears in this and it shows by the research that is jam packed in the book. It is not like just slathering information about like you would prototype 37c and make a jumbled mess. No, this is a well thought out book meant to allow the reader to think as they read.

I have also read the Mayan Code and it was equally as good. Another must have in your library.

Purchase the book? I would say you would be foolish not to!

We were sent a few emails asking about how to get rid of blackheads

The best and most natural method that we have found is using corn or even oat meal as a facial scrub. I am particularly fond of the corn meal and the box, that is refrigerated, last me months and months!

It is so easy to make and use that I can not imagine why you wouldn't use it! I usually use it once a week only. It leaves the skin rosy and so soft!

Mix into a small paste, scrub lightly all over face then rinse. Rinsing takes a bit to make sure that you get it all off but it is so worth it!

The next time you are in the market by a small box of Jiff, might cost you under a dollar and give it a try!

Mystic Witch will open up their own new and improved store front this coming August! You can still be able to find their products on eBay and through private order but they will have their own store-FINALLY!

We were told that there is going to be some impressive new oils & kits that will only be available in the store. Hopefully we will be able to announce what they are!.

We did hear a rumor that there is a best acne cream that they are making! That is really exciting as the other products that are made there are wonderful! Look for more news on this later on.

        

We just wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy 4th of July in advance.

We will be closed Thursday through Sunday due to being short staffed. Vacation time here for all!

One thing that I will be doing is re-decorating my bathroom. We really need to purchase new American Standard toilets for both of my bathrooms. Yes, two toilets not just one! Imagine that!

Since we are having guests, and a lot of them, I need to purchase these and have them installed in a big time hurry.

So with that we hope that everything goes smoothly!

Within the next week or so the blog and main site will be updated with a new look. It has been said before but this time it will be done

With the blog of course there is not a lot to choose from so it will not be anything spectacular at all but at least it will be a change. And changes are good!!

The blog look will be the first to change the look as the site takes a lot longer to do. We have been looking at templates to see what looks are available that we like and are practical to put into force. Much like thinking about purchasing an HDTV it takes time to find just the right one! So if you happen here and see a new look let us know how you like it!

        

With the hot weather that is now here with us the one thing that we should all remember is to watch out for our skin! If out in prolonged heat or sun be sure to wear sun screen. A hat is always useful as well!

There are times when being out in the sun you might be confused by break outs. You can not tell if they are adult acne or a heat rash. Although once you really take a look you can tell!!

With sunscreen, plenty of water, wearing hats and not staying out in the heat for long periods of time you should be able to prevent a lot of the heat rashes that many suffer from.

Overall, be safe in the sun at all times! Enjoy it but take precautions

        

It is that time of year again where hand fasting's are popping up left and right! Usually the ceremony's  are simple and just lovely. Or at least the ones that I have attended. There are many that seem to get lost in the pomp and glamor going over board on the wedding accessories that seem to break the bank.

Some of the best hand fasting events I have attended used the outdoors and made use of flowers, herbs, branches or you name it from what was right there at the site. Very personal and calming for those that were in attendance.

If you are having an outdoor event like this the best advice is to keep it natural!

        

While we are all relaxing and spending time with family and friends this weekend take the time to do a little reflection as well. During those cook outs and parties you might find yourself a little harried and stressed by worrying about the food and even lack of sleep. With all the goodies that are around this is a good time to look into fad diets that work as there are a lot of them around.

Yet think of why you are wishing to diet. Making sure that it is for the right reasons not for how you think others are perceiving you. Think about this and you might relax a bit around the BBQ & pool!
