Keep Those Tiny Hands Busy
A super good craft idea that is inexpensive yet pricey on creativity for small children to do is to make magnets for your fridge. You do not have to invest in a lot of money or worry about them breaking something like refrigerator filters while they are hanging their projects up!
You can have them make seasonal magnets on those days that they are bored and wanting something to do!
All you need are:
Thin magnet sheets (some come with the glue tabs on the back ready to use)
Magazine
Glue
Child safety scissors
Imagination!
Clear off the table and let them go through a magazine to find pictures that they like that is suitable for the holiday. Since October is in a couple of days let them cut out Samhain treasures to decorate the fridge.
Once they have them all cut out have them glue the magnets on the backs of the papers. The self adhesive magnets are great and you will be glad that you purchased it later! Saves mess clean up. Plus you can by this in rolls or squares for future holidays.
Let them have fun and be creative for all the holidays!
