This will be a short week for this gal. School started here and there are a few million things that are now needed to do.

Oh, you think that you have everything ready until the big day. With the kids actually attending the first day the teachers send home another list of what is needed. So out you go shopping once more.

Happens each and every year so I was not very surprised at all. Plus it gives me an excuse to get a jump on shopping for my middle sons birthday that is coming up in September.

I have been scouring the web looking for things that he may like and nothing, and I mean nothing seems suitable for him. Especially since he is turning 16.

I am torn between a new TV that he has been complaining about or just a sum of money that he can go do whatever with. haha I am sure that the TV is the way to go.

He does have a small list of books that he is interested in and these are great gifts to give as they are useful. That list surprised me to death when he gave it to me. So this week off and on I will be out hunting down school supplies and his 16th birthday gift! Lucky, lucky me!!!
