Can you believe that summer is nearly over? I know that I am stunned to realize that the time is ticking away and fall will be here soon.

I have begun to harvest the flowers and plants available right now to dry and use for the long winter months. Another month or so and the next harvest will begin. I love doing that. Seeking out the hidden treasures outside that make for wonderful oils and other items that are made.

I was surprised that a friend called and said there was an amazing patch of wild flowers growing near the new steel buildings in town. When I went there I was giddy with excitement. The flowers that were available were so pretty and the amount there would last more than the winter months!

If you use fresh herbs & flowers start looking outside for what nature has to offer!
