Oh, I love to just sit out in the yard after a refreshing spring rain. Feels so cleansing and refreshing to say the least.

Another thing that i love is after the rain and when the sun comes out the little flower heads pop out that were not there before. It is so amazing to see!

Today was just that type of day. Spending the day over worked and very stressed my daughter wanted me to go out in the back yard with her, my grandson and my son to just sit. At first it sounded so crazy as there were winds that were blowing so hard it felt chilly. Yet I ventured out anyway. After a bit I started looking around the yard and there they were. The most lovely purple buds just poking out. Never saw those before so it was something new.

Just seeing something so simply, so lovely took the entire stress away and was just what the doctor ordered. Between my children messing around and my grandson who is not two yet exploring the wonders of the yard it really took my mind off that not working barcode scanner that I was dealing with.

Sometimes just a quick break with nature and our loved ones is all we need!
