This book may not be for everyone. For those of you that have an avid interest in the area of Thematic practice and theory, you might wish to purchase a copy. This is not about Crowley so if that is what you are seeking pass on by.
Yet the information that is contained throughout the book catches the readers attention nearly from page one until the last page. Written for those that are seeking a higher grasp of knowledge on the subject matter of Thelma it is a little dry in its presentation.
Definitely a book that demands the reader to pay attention and focus on what is being written. In my opinion reading much like a school text in college. Which is not a bad thing mind you but this is not 'light reading' by no means.
The writer explains in a very intense and vivid manner the theories followed with illustrations and charts. If you are looking for a way to locate Philadelphia jobs and spell workings this book will not help you. It contains no ritualistic workings which in a way for this reader was a relief. As to often the writer feels the need to throw in a few workings to back up their points. There were none in this only facts. I was appreciative of that.
For those that are interested in a more factual approach this would be the book to purchase.

and informing the Aeon of the Child, and the sublime formulas of
Initiation encountered by those who would probe its mysteries. Drawing

Thelema in its historical, religious, and practical context.
