Book Review Questions

Recently we were sent a couple of emails asking about reviews that we do on books that are sent to us. One question, which was a good one, was if we would do reviews on Christian books if they were sent in.

I put this forth in one of our meetings and it was a question that we all tossed around.

Since we are open to all religious faiths should we do these reviews as well?

Yes, was the overwhelming answer. One reason is that we are, as I stated open to all paths. Shutting the door on reviews such as these would show that we are closed minded and also I feel hypocritical to say the least. In that I mean if we say open to all, we should be open to all.

Now, the next question was who would do the reviews with an open mind? Being able to show no bias towards the writings at all. To be able to read the book(s) just as others are.

I was surprised by a few of my staff answers. But everyone is entitled to their own views Jennifer, who has been with us for a number of months so very kindly stepped up and will do the reviews.

Personally, I think that by doing the reviews will give our readers a wider knowledge base to help them understand other paths that are unlike their own. Plus we stand by our words.

Open to all paths and religious beliefs.
