Keeping Your Altar Natural

The Yule season is one of the prettiest holidays to decorate the altar in my opinion. Keeping it all natural is so easy and inexpensive to boot.

Using what Mother Nature offers us in and around our homes is splendid. For me I am lucky that we are surrounded by pine trees. Using the pine cones and branches that need to be trimmed or have fallen around the tree is material that I use all the time. Giving the altar a touch of the outdoors with the look and scent.

Finding red berries that are commonly seen in the winter is another item that I pick from my own yard. Making sure though that they are away from animals and small children when using them as accents in the pine and cones that I am using.

Taking a walk around the neighborhood or even the local park ,if you are keeping your eyes,  open you will come home with lovely decorative natural accents.

I love the scent of the pine mixture when I walk in the door. Not to mention my Yule altar is simply enchanting.

Keeping the costs down does not mean that you have to give up beauty. Mother  Nature offers you a simple way to decorate.
