There are so many books written for the Wiccan to read. Have you been searching for a book that has the information on the topics that you are interested in? Especially if you are new to the path, you need, or rather want to gain as much information on the basics. Such as tools, elements, invocations and much more. Yet a lot of books leave you hanging to dry only giving you short descriptions of what you need to start out with.
Not so with the Wicca Handbook. This has chapter after chapter of resource material that you need. Answers to your questions on Witchcraft or Wicca so it covers that basics for you.
Often time these individuals that are in dire need of answers can not find them. Many are solitaires and have no one to rely upon for answers. Opening this book, flipping the pages they will find their answers.
Ms. Holland has written this book in clear and concise guide for all to read. Making the writing personal not impersonal as many I have read. She has written in such a manner that it makes you feel as though she is talking directly to you, nearly in the same room. Which I found refreshing.
Starting with a sincere forward by Raymond Buckland, the book allows the reader to travel into the world of the Wiccan finding the ways easily explained.
Chapter by chapter I found it a wealth of information not only for the novice but a refresher for the saged practioner as well. Truthfully, I found a few chapters that I had forgotten about and it was nice to have my memory jogged once again.
I particularly enjoyed the chapter on Blue Justice. Along with the tell all personal side the working that was presented was one in which I have not ever seen.
I urge readers to add this to their book collections. As this is surely a handbook that from page to page will be well used.
And yes there are spells inside for those that find this important!
From one reader to the next I recommend this book to all. I wil be placing this on my student book list as well.
