In the past few days we have had a few questions about how to know if a person is a Witch or not. Shaking my head I have answered seriously to those replies and the answer is usually you can't distinguish between a Witch and a person that does not practice witchcraft.

Truthfully, I would like to ask how do you tell the difference between, lets say a Catholic and a Baptist? Think about that for a while then get back to me

Witches look the same as everyone else. Individuals with the same flair and style that you have. They might look just like that mom with three children that you have a play date with in the park every day or the senior citizen that you bring a warm meal to during the week.

In fact they look much like you do

But for those that want to know an old folk lore way to tell if a person is a witch or not here goes.

If you think someone is a witch toss a walnut into their laps. A witch will not be able to stand up once a walnut is in their lap.

I suppose you could toss the walnut then look at your Festina watches acting like it wasn't you that did the tossing!

Now, I wouldn't try this guys and gals. You might get the walnut tossed back upside your head. Especially if you tell them why you tossed this in their lap in the first place.
