When Samhain comes around there is one thing that the bookkeepers and myself dread. And that is the financial reporting for the publication. Luckily it really is not all that bad as everything that we need is kept in tidy little file folders. Along with data that we can pull off the computers that does not take long to run at all.

The end of the year close out takes at least five to six hours for the computer part of the reports. This is a time when we can just kick back and talk. Not that we don't do that anyway it is just easier as we can not do a lot with the computers doing their thing.

This year we are having a lunch buffet while we are closing the books. WooHoo! Food and data. Sounds exciting
