Now that it is Fall, how about thinking about our fine feathered friends? Here is a great idea that will add not only a nice decoration to you home but feed the birds also.

A bird wreath is just the perfect idea for the feeding of the birds. Here is a simple way to make this.

First gather the following items:

vines, straw or some other such material
dried sunflower heads
herbs
tall grasses
flowers with seed heads

You can use vines as a base or use straw or some other material such as this. Attaching small to medium-size sunflower heads around the wreath, secure the flowers with floral wire. You can add any flower that has seeds that the birds will love to peck and eat. Adding some herbs, grass and even some corn (I saw that baby corn is the best for this idea).

Now, you are ready to treat the birds and yourself in watching them have their own Harvest feast
