Wax Readings: How To
Want an easy and quick method of
scrying? Here is a method that is relatively easy to do and once you
are accustomed to the way to use, you will receive some great results.
The method that I am referring to is called "Wax Reading". This is not a dangerous method, but please use caution, especially due to the fact you are using hot wax for this method.
Step 1
Materials Needed:
Container of Charged Full Moon water
1 White or natural wide brim candle
Matches
Heat proof surface
Journal, book and or paper
Gather the materials that you will need. The best time to do this is at the full of the moon. Placing your filled scrying container in the moon light over night. Be sure this is in a place that will not be disturbed by animals or humans. Do not add anything to this water. No salt, dyes or any other coloring. You may use tap water, but if you are one of the lucky ones that lives near a stream this water is the best. Try bottled spring water for a good effect. Leave this water over night so it gathers the moons reflections and gives that little extra energy to it.
Step 2
The following day you will take this water and place it where you do your workings. This is a place that you have made that is just for your workings.
You will need your natural or white large candle and of course some matches. Take care when pouring the wax into the bowl. Pour the melted wax slowly into the bowl.
You should be completely relaxed and focused. Try to meditate before doing this method.
When you feel the time is right and you are ready to start, light your candle, keeping your eyes half closed. This is now the time to ask your question. Let the wax that is melting form a pool before pouring into the water (remember the warning given previously)
You will need a journal to keep notes in for this procedure. Write the question down in your book. When the wax begins to form a symbol or picture write down what you see. Be sure that it is the first thing that pops into your mind. Try not to over analyze this image.
Step 3
You may let the candle build the pool some more before pouring again. Keeping this up until you know that you have a complete answer to your question. Do not forget to place your lighted candle on a heat resistant surface. Always use caution with a candle in all your workings.
By the end of this method you should have seen the answer to the question you have asked. If you feel that you saw nothing. Try again. Sometimes even the easiest of methods take time to get used to and master. Always have an open mind and have fun with this!.
