A Prayer For Mabon
Pulling this out of the old steering rack this prayer has been around a long while.
I know that I saw this particular one years ago and yet I still like it. Why? It is simple and to the point. Not all drug out and long winded. Not everyone wants to perform a ritual, working or even a prayer for hours at a time.
Keeping it short and simple might even increase your energy level for other things that are equally as important. I hope you enjoy this prayer as much as I do:
Bountiful Mother Earth, whose dark womb has brought forth this
munifience we see before us, we humbly thank you for your gift of sustenance which
nourishes our bodies and minds. Lord of the Harvest, wise and giving, we praise
you generosity in providing this feast which gives us strength and endurance.
Lord and Lady, our blessings this year have been many. We thank you for...

...And for all those blessings and gifts which in the hustle and bustle of daily
living we have overlooked and taken for granted, we most gratefully thank you now.
Blessed Lord and Lady, mighty and powerful, tender and charitable, forever may your
praises be sung by your adoring and thankful children.
So mote it be!
