There is one thing that is certain that a lot of people have limited living space and find it hard to set up an alter in a nice small space.

Using furniture that is already owned is a great idea. Not to mention it saves on your pocket book. One thought is to use that old tv stand that is just collecting dust.

We all have one of those that we try and try to find something useful to use it for. I know I have an older microwave stand that I found was perfect for a smaller alter in my home. It is placed in a corner out of the way and decorated all year with a certain deity. I am able to fold down the sides if I want to down size the and use the space next to it.. Plus it is on wheels so I am able to move it to clean behind and around it easily.

Look around your home for those items that you already own BEFORE you spend the money on something high priced. You can save time and money by doing this. Not to mention that you can decorate it without thought that it is brand new etc.
