Last night was one of the best 4th of July's that we have had in a very long time I think. All the family and a few friends of the children were there off and on which made it really special.

This is one of the many fireworks that we shot off in our front. Yes, they shoot up in the sky just like the displays that you can go visit. This is why I think that the 4th of July fireworks are so much better in Indiana than in California. After all the years of just fountains and the other poofy fireworks, these that are shot into the sky are absolutely beautiful.

Firecrackers were the most annoying of all that was there. The boys shot those off all day and well after midnight. Our party ended at around 11:30 PM. Nearly three hours of fireworks!
